As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Verland my daily work consists of enriching and supporting the lives of a handful of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for them. From assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management to fostering meaningful interactions and opportunities for growth, every aspect of our work is centered around the well-being and independence of our residents.

I am proud to be a part of the over 750+ individuals who currently work at Verland. With over 50% coming from traditionally underrepresented groups this diverse workforce is a testament to our inclusive culture and reflects our belief in the value of embracing differences. Last year, our team grew by over 11%, showcasing Verland’s dedication to serving more individuals in need while simultaneously providing careers to those in the Greater Southwestern PA region.
